1 1/2 oz whiskey
1 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
3/4 oz sugar syrup
maraschino cherry for garnish
Pour the Jack Daniels, lemon juice, and lime juice then sugar syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
Shake well.
Strain into a chilled sour glass.
Garnish with the cherry

Dissolve the sugar into the boiling water.
Once the sugar is dissolved completely, remove the pan from the heat.
